This house haveing taken into Consideration Coll Samuel
Young Treasurer of the Western Shore his Letter: Desireing
that he may have an Order to Dispose of Sundry Bills of
Exchange for money,
Ordered that the Treasurers of the Eastern and Western
Shore Dispose of Such Bills of Exchange they now have in
their hands or shall hereafter have due to the Publick to the
best Advantage they Can for money for the use of the Prov-
ince, and that they render a particular Account of what Bills
they Shall Negotiate to whom paid away and for how much
p cent to the Comittee for Laying the publick Levy or the
next Session of Assembly which shall first happen Reserving
only so much as will discharge The Countrys Sterling debts
in bills of Exchange.
