Mr Lee and 5 more from the Lower House Deliver his Excy
the following Message Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly

Aprill the 22d 1720
May It please Your Honrs
This house Concurrs with your Honrs Proposalls mentioned
in your Message of this day by Esqr Hall in Joining in an
Address by way of Answer to their Lordships Speech And
therefore desire that the Gentln that are to be appointed of
your House may be Nominated that they may proceed thereon
And therefore have Appointed Mr Phil Leej Col Jno Mackall,
Mr James Smith, Col Roger Wool ford, Major Richard Cole-
gate & Mr James Lloyd to Joyn Imediately with such members
as your house shall so nominate

Mr Tyler & three more of the Lower House Deliver his
Excy the following Message Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly

Aprill the 22d 1720
May It please your Excellency.

Mr Speaker having Comunicated to this house your Excel-
lency's Letter of this day have Reassumed their former Vote
on the three pence p tonn & have Resolved Nemine Contra-
dicente that your Excy has a good right to the said three
pence p tonn so long as you shall Continue Govt of this
Province
Signed p Order M Jenifer Cl Lo Ho.

To which Message his Excy Drew the following Answer
Viz.

Mr Speaker. I Desire you to Give my thanks to the House
for their so unanimously doing me Justice in relation to the 3d
p Tonn
By the Upper House of Assembly
