His Excellency the Govr Demands of Henry Lowe Esqr his
Lordships Agent the residue of the twelve pence p hhd after
the 1000 Ib p Year He has already paid him is deducted since
the time of his Agency Who returns his Excy for Answer that
he is Empowered by his Ldship's Instructions to pay his Excy
no more than the afd 1000 lb p year which he has done to the
29th day of Septemr last which at his Excys Instance is En-
tered upon this Journall
Mr Caldwell and Mr Jones from the Lower House Delivers
his Excy A Bill for Supplying Certain Defects in the Con-
veying of Lands from Henry Gibbs &c. which was thus

May It Please your Honrs
This House being well Satisfied wth the Justice in passing
the within Bill Especially Considering the Deed therein men-
coned herewith sent it only for the Bettr securing & releasing
to the Parties in whose favr the Bill is intended to pass the
Right of the Land therein menconed which was before Mort-
gaged to their Father without any pjudice to the heirs of the
said Edward Gibbs whome this house is informed is gone
beyond the Seas so that It is morally Imposible to give him
Notice of Exhibitting the Pet or the intent of passing this
Bill. Wherefore we pray that the Bill may Pass as It now
Stands
