Brooke A Bill for Confirming the Last will and Testament of
Wm Bozman of Somersett County decd wch is thus Endorst Viz.

By the Lower house of Assembly
Aprill 13th 1720
Read the first and Second Times by Especiall order and will
pass Nemine Contradicente
Signed p Order M Jenifer Cl Lo. Ho.

Which being read Mr Bordley on his motion to this house
is Admitted as Council for Wm Bozman agt the passing the afd
Bill.
By the Upper house of Assembly

Aprill 13th 1720

His Excellency having Comunicated to this House a Letter
directed to him from the Honble Thos Addison Esqr one of
our Membs wherein he makes mention of a Petition preferred

to your house agt him, the Copy whereof has been produced to
us under Your Clerk's hand by which It appears he stands
Charged with great partiality in the Execution of his Office as
a Land Commissioner and the said Thos Addison Esqr having
represented to us that the said Petition without his being ever
Called to answer thereto is by Your house referred to the
Consideration of the next Sessions of Assembly by which
means he is not only deprived of the present Opportunity of
Justifying his Conduct in the discharge off his Office afd but
ffurther declares he Cannot think it proper for him to Act in
those Other Eminent Stations he has the Honr to be advanced
to, in this Government untill he shall have acquitted himself of
the Facts imputed to him in the said Petition And forasmuch
as We think it unreasonable that any Gentln and Especially
