The foregoing three Bills sent to the Lower House by Col
Holland who returns and Says he Delivered it
The Petition of John Deavour &c. being read is thus En-
dorsed Viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly
Aprill the 12th 1720
Read and referred to the Consideration of the Lower House
Signed p order John Beale Cl Up Ho.

The foregoing Petition Sent to the Lower House by Esqr
Hall who returns and Says he Delivered the same.
Mr Joseph Hill and Mr Richard Warfield two Members
from the Lower house acquaint his Excy that they Attend to
see Amos Garrett & Benjamin Tasker Esqr two Delegates
Elected for the City of Annapolis Qualified &c.
Who thereupon take the Sevll Oaths appointed to be taken
by Act of Assembly and Signed the Oath of Abjuration &
Test and so withdraw
His Excellency the Govr pursuant to the Resolve of both
Houses proposes that notice be given to the Most Eminent of
the Papists which is agreed upon in Manner following

By his Excellency the Governour With the Concurrence of
the Upper and Lower houses of Assembly now Sitting

Aprill the 12th 1720

Resolved that whereas the Papists have Given out in
Speeches that they have a right to some Privileges which they
do not now Enjoy they or such of them as shall think fitt do
Appear before his Excy in the Upper House of Assembly at
the Councill Chamber by Saturday the Sixteenth Instant or
any Other Convenient Time they desire dureing this Sessions
to make Appear what Privileges of theirs are infringed by
the present Admrcon of Governmt both houses having Con-

curred with his Excy And promise to do them all the Justice
that their Case requires, But that their failure herein will be
taken as a reliction of their Pretensions

Off which Resolve Several Coppys are made and sent to
the Severall Sherriffs in Order to be delivered to the said
Eminent Papists Viz. Charles Carroll, James Carroll, Henry
Darnall, Wm Diggs, Benjn Hall, Clement Hill, Henry Darnall
Junr, Wm Fitz Redmond, Henry Wharton, CharaDiggs, Peter
