Col Roger Wool ford and Mr John Brannock two members
of the Lower House Acquaint his Excy that they Attend with
Mr Peter Taylor a member Elected for Dorchester County to
see him Qualified
Thereupon the severall Oaths appointed to be taken by Act
of Assembly are Administred to the same Peter Taylor Who
takes the same Oaths and Signed the Oath of Abjuration and
Test according to the directions of the Act afd And soe they
withdrew.
Col Holland & Esqr Bordley return that they have given the
thanks of his Excy And this House to the Revd Mr Skippon
according to the resolve in the Forenoon
In Regard that the Assembly is now Sitting the Question is
putt whether the Provll Court ought not to be Adjourned
Resolved in the Affirmative Nemine Contradicente.
Thereupon the Question is further put to what time the said
Court shall be Adjourned.
Resolved &c that the said Provll Court be adjourned to the
last Tuesday in this month and that a Proclamation be pre-
pared to give Notice that the said Court will be adjourned to
that Time Which Proclamation Issued as follows Viz.

Whereas the Provinciall Court of this Province Stands
Adjourned till the 2d Tuesday of this Instant And for that the
Genl Assembly is now sitting And likely to Continue till the
time that Court is appointed to Sitt Therefore that the Busi-
ness of that Court may not Interfere with that of the As-
sembly nor the Suitors thereto be disappointed I have by the
Advice of his Lordship the Right Honble the Lord Proprys
Councill thought fitt to Issue this my Proclamation to make
publication that the said Court will be Adjourned from the
said 2d Tuesday of Aprill till the last Tuesday of the same
Month, And do hereby Order and appoint the sevll Sherriffs
of the Sevll and respective Countys of this Province to make
due publication hereof at all Towns Court Houses Churches
and Chappels of Ease And others the most ffrequented Places
in their Sev" and respective Countys Whereof they are not to
faile at their Perill.
Given at the City of Annapolis under his Lordships the Lord
Proprys Greater Scale at Arms this 7th day of Aprill in the 5th
year of his Lordships Dominion &c Annoq Dom 1720.
