They return and say they delivered it
Ordered that the Gentlemen Appointed by the Act for
repairing the Records proceed as they shall think proper
towards the records According to report of the Committee ap-
pointed to View the records this Sessions.
Esqr Hall from the Upper House acquaints Mr Speaker that
the Engrost bill for limitation of officers fees and the Engrost
bill for Laying the Levy are read and assented to by that
house.
Col Young and two more from the Upper House deliver
Mr Speaker the following Message Vizi

By the Upper House of Assembly June 6th 1719.
Gent.
It is Very well known how kind and Serviceable his Excel-
lency the Governour has been to this Province dureing his
administration here, not only in the Supporting the Author-

ity of his Lordship but in consulting the true interest of
Maryland.
Wherefore we offer to your Consideration whether it be not
reasonable (this being probably the last Sessions of Assembly
that we shall have the happiness to meet him in) to make him
some Gratefull Acknowledgment for all his favours.

Thereupon the Question was put whether his Excellency
Shall lay his accounts of disbursments before this house or
not. Carried in the Affirmative.
And ordered the following Message be prepared Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly June 6th 1719.
May it Please your Honours
This house takeing into Consideration your Message of this
day by Col Young & two more desire your Honours will be
pleased to entreat his Excellency to lay an Account of his
Disbursments on Account of the Province before this house.
