Sessions more than what is in the Journall of Accounts be
paid them in Money at the rate of twelve Shills and Six pence
Currant

Ordered that the Committee for laying the publick levy
allow his Excellency the Governour in Money for so much
Tobacco as is allowed him by the Publick at the rate of twelve
and Six pence p hundred Currency if Money will hold out
and he thinks fitt to Accept thereof.
Coll Young from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker the

Journall of the Committee of accounts thus Endorst Viz:

June the 5th 1719.
Read and assented to by the Upper House of Assembly &
Signed p Order. John Beard Cl Up Ho

The Bill empowering a Committee to lay and Assess the
Publick levy was read the first and second times by especial
order and will pass, which was so Endorst and Sent to the
Upper House by Mr Stoddart and Mr Dashiel.
They Return and say they delivered it.
Esqr Brooke and three more from the Upper House deliver
Mr Speaker the following Message Viz:

By the Upper House of Assembly June the 5th 1710.
Gent.
Upon Reading your Message by Mr Hill and Others his
Excellency is Pleased to Say that he shall pass the bill if their
be a limitation, which he desires may be for three years and
to the end of the next Session of Assembly which shall happen
after three years, or to the end of the first Session of Assembly
after the Arrivall of the Lord Proprietor which shall first
happen

The following letter from his Excellency on Wednesday
