Coll: Addison from the Upper house delivers M^r Speaker
the bill reviving an Act for the encouragement of Tillage and
relief of Poor Debtors thus Endorst Viz.

By the Upper house of Assembly
June the I^st 1719

This house Looking upon the amendments proposed to be
necessary on a debate thereon, Resolved this bill will not
Pass with out the amendment aforesaid.

Thereupon the Question was put whether the bill shall be
Amended Accordingly or not.

Carried in the Affirmative.
And Acquaints M^r Speaker that the Upper House has
assented to the Supplementary bill Engrost to the Act for
Appointment of Constables.
The Question was put whether an Addition of 2000^ll tobacco
shall be made by the Publick to the Rector of S^t Ann's parish
over and above the usuall Allowance in consideration of his
great charge in residing at the seat of Government for the
service of the Publick.
Carried in the Affirmative by the Majority of Votes.
Thereupon Resolved that the Rev^d M^r Samuel Skippon, or
the Rector of S^t Ann's Parish that shall be at the time of the
Laying the publick levy be allowed his proportion of the said
2000^ll Tobacco for this year for the time he shall stay in the
said Parish.
Philemon Lloyd Esq^r from the Upper House delivers M^r
Speaker the following Message Viz:
