2 As by the said Severall Indictments Annexed mav more
fully Appear

The Indictments mentioned (the Copys whereof are to be
Annexed) are herewith sent you, for your perusal with
which if your house concurrs the bill will pass.

Coll: Addison from the Upper house delivers Mr Speaker
the bill reviving an Act for the encouragement of Tillage and
relief of Poor Debtors thus Endorst Viz.

By the Upper house of Assembly
June the Ist 1719

This house Looking upon the amendments proposed to be
necessary on a debate thereon, Resolved this bill will not
Pass with out the amendment aforesaid.

Thereupon the Question was put whether the bill shall be
Amended Accordingly or not.

Carried in the Affirmative.
And Acquaints Mr Speaker that the Upper House has
assented to the Supplementary bill Engrost to the Act for
Appointment of Constables.
The Question was put whether an Addition of 2000ll tobacco
shall be made by the Publick to the Rector of St Ann's parish
over and above the usuall Allowance in consideration of his
great charge in residing at the seat of Government for the
service of the Publick.
Carried in the Affirmative by the Majority of Votes.
Thereupon Resolved that the Revd Mr Samuel Skippon, or
the Rector of St Ann's Parish that shall be at the time of the
Laying the publick levy be allowed his proportion of the said
2000ll Tobacco for this year for the time he shall stay in the
said Parish.
Philemon Lloyd Esqr from the Upper House delivers Mr
Speaker the following Message Viz:

By the Upper House of Assembly June Ist 1719.

Gent.
On reading your Message of this day with the Act relating
to Grand and Petit Jurors &c by Mr Rousby and Coll: Hynson

we find that your house on an examination in the Secretarys
Office might have seen Instances of Sherrs being fined for not
