Amounting to the sume of £197..4s..1d Currt money of this
Province which his Excx allows to be in her hands but is un-
willing to pay the same On pretence that Debts of an higher
nature may be brought in against the decds Estate.
Yet forasmuch as the said Sum of £197..4s..1d was money
raised upon a Publick fund and for a publick use the same
may be declared and deemed a Debt of an higher nature than
any others due from the said Col Smithsons Estate And the
said Execrx Justified in the payment thereof to the Rectors &
Visitors afd against any future Claims which may be brought
in agt her sd Husband's Estate.

for the Publication of Marriages passed by the Lower house
Read and passed by this house and so Endorsed. And sent
down by Colo Coursey, who returns and says he Dd it
Col Scott and William Young from the lower house with a
bill Impowring John Oldham of Talbot County Gent to erect
& build a Windmill in the Town and Port of Oxford on the
Town Point in Talbot County ; Passed by the Lower house.
Read and passed by this house and Sent down p John Hall
Esqr who returns & says he Dd it

The House Adjourns till to morrow Morning.

house the Engrosed Bill Ascertaining the Guage & Tare of
Tobacco hogheads &c. Assented to by the Lower house
