They return and say they Delivered them.
Bill reviving An Act for Encouragement of Tillage Read
the first and Second time by especial order and will pass and
was so Endorst.
Bill for the application of such Intestates Estates as leave no
Legall representatives and for enf orceing proceedings against
Temerary Administrators Read the first time and Ordered a
Second reading tomorrow.

The house adjourns till to Morrow Morning eight a Clock.

Saturday May 30th 1719
The house meet according to Adjournment
Yesterdays Proceedings are read.
Bill for the Application of such Intestates estates as leave
no Legal representatives and for enforceing proceedings
against Temerary Administrators Read the Second time and
the Question was put whether the widow shall have the
Residue if no Collateralls after brothers' and Sisters children
or not.
Carried in the Affirmative. Thereupon this bill will pass.
Which was so Endorst and sent to the Upper House by Major
Woollford and Mr Walter Smith. They return and say they
delivered it.
Supplementary bill to the Act for Appointment of Con-
stables read with the Amendmts and past for Engrossing.
Which was so Endorst and Sent to the Committee of laws to
be Engrost.
Esqr Hall from the Upper house delivers Mr Speaker the
following Message viz:

By the Upper House of Assembly
May 30th 1719.

Gent. In Answer to your Message of the 25th Instant by

Mr Codd and Mr Smith his Excellency haveing declared to
this house that Coll: Lloyd Shewed him a Letter directed to
the said Coll: Lloyd from Capt John Hyde wherein was in-
closed the opinion of the Lords Commissioners of trade
whereby they set forth that the Severall Sums allowed him
by the Publick for his Attendance as a Councellor dureing the
time of his presidency was his right, And for that the said
Lloyd is now Dead We think it reasonable his widow have time
till the next Session to produce that opinion or make such other
defence she shall think fitt Unless this shall be thought a
