And delivered to Mr Speaker the bill to confirm part of a Lot
of land in the City of Annapolis to Robert Johnson thus
Endorst viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly
May 22d 1719.

Read the first and Second times and will pass.

Which was read again and past for Engrossing. And Sent
to the Committee of laws to be Engrost.
The petition of Mr Joseph Hill praying that Ninety Acres
of land lying within the city of Annapolis may be confirmed
to him was read and referred till Munday Morning.
Mr Tyler from the Committee of aggrievances delivered Mr
Speaker the petition of the Inhabitants of Baltimore County
praying that they may have liberty of choosing their Sherriff
by the Majority of voices thus Endorst viz:

The within Petition being read and heard it is the Opinion
of this Committee that it be referred to the house for a further
consideration.

Which was read in this House and referred till next Ses-
sions.

The House adjourns till to morrow morning Eight a Clock.

Mr Lee on his Motion has the leave of this House to goe
home on urgent business but not to be allowed for this day's
Attendance.
Bill for Confirming to William Gray of Calvert County a
Small parcell of Land lying in the said County Sold by Robt
Brooke to the said Gray now in the possession of the said Gray
was read & Ordered to be thus Endorst viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly
May the 23d 1719.

Read the first and Second times by Especiall Order & will
pass.
