And Sent to the Upper House by Colo Hynson and Mr
Wright They return and say they delivered it.

The Peticon of the Inhabitants of St. Mary's County com-
plaining of an undue Election of Mr Thos Waughop a member
returned for St Marys County was read referr'd to the Com-
mittee of Elections and Priviledges to examine the allegations
therein mentioned and to make their Report thereof to the
House.
The petition of Thomas Linthicum praying to be relieved
against the false makeing out his Patent only for Six hundred
and thirty one Acres Instead of Eleven hundred & thirty one
acres read and referred to the Committee of Aggrievances
to make their report to the house and to call Evidences before
them. And Wm Turbutt and Mr Robert Hanson added to the
Committee on that occasion.

Collo Addison from the Upper house delivers Mr Speaker
the following Message viz:

By the Upper House of Assembly May the 15th 1719.

Gent. This house concurrs with your House in the times
Proposed for your daily meeting and Adjourning dureing this
Sessions.
Signed p Order John Beard Cl up. Ho.

Mr Brannock appears in the house.
Ordered Mr Hill and Mr Edmondson go to the Upper House
to See him Qualifyed.

They return and say they see him Qualifyed Whereupon
he took his Place.

The house adjourns till one a Clock in the afternoon.

Post meridiem. The House meet According to Adjourn-
ment present as in the Morning.

Ordered the Committee of Laws prepare an answer to his
Excellencys Speech. .

The petition of John Laseill of Calvert County praying to be
Naturalized was read & ordered a bill be prepared for him
accordingly upon Qualifying himself.
Mr Roger Woollford added to the Committee of laws.
