Thos Bordley Esqr & five others from the Lower House with
the following Message Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly

June 6th 1719
May It Please Yor Excellency
Wee are truly Sensible that Yor Excy has been at Great Ex-
pence in Maintaining the Laws of this Province against the
Invasions of Papists and Acknowledge the sum Proposed to
be Realy but a reimbursment of Part of What your Excel-
lency has Disbursed for the Honour and Safety of Maryland
And Desire your Excys Acceptance of it as such

Ordered that Col Samll Young go to the Lower House and
Acqt Mr Speaker and the members of that house that his Excy
Comands them to Attend him in the Councill Chamber to see
the Laws made this Sessions Sealed & receive their Assent
who returns & Says He delivered their Message
Accordingly appeared Mr Speaker & the Members of the
Lower House And saw the following Acts Sealed with his
Lordships Greater Scale of this Province and Assented to by
his Excy on behalf of the Right Honble the Ld Propry of this
Province Viz.

No 1. An Engrost bill for Supplying Certain Defects in a
Conveyance of Land from Henry Roberts to John Ford
2. An Engrost bill for the Vesting & Setling an Estate of
Inheritance in Fee simple of and in a Certain parcell or Lott
of Ground in the City of Annapolis Containing One hundred
& Twenty feet in Length on Robt Johnson of Annll County
Ship Wright

3 An Engrost bill to Confirm to William Gray of Calvert
County a Small Parcell of Land lying in the said County Sold
by Robt Brooke to the said Gray now in the Possession of the
said Gray.
4. An Engrost bill to Confirm a Tract of Land therein Men-
tioned to the Rector or minister of St. John's Parish in Balti-
more County and his successors for Ever
5. An Engrost bill for the Encouragement of an Iron
manufacture within this Province
