Message

By the lower house of Assembly

June 5th 1719
May It Please your Honours
This house has Agreed that their severall Members and
Officers be Allowed at the Rate of twelve Shillings and Six
pence Currt mony for the three days Attendance more than
Allowed in the Journall of the Comittee of Accounts this
Assembly, And Desire to know whether your Honours will
be willing that the like Allowances be made to the severall
members of your house with which if you agree the Allow-
ances may be now made Accordingly.

Present as before noon

Mr Joseph Hill and three others from the lower house with
the bill for Limitation of Officers Fees And the following
message

June 5th 1719
May It Please yor Honrs

You have herewith a bill for the Limitation of Officers Fees
According to the Regulation proposed by the Conference Ap-
pointed for that purpose, but least it shou'd meet with any
Difficulty in being Passed by his Excellcy, we propose that an
Address be prepared to his Excellency Setting forth Proper
Reasons to Induce him to Pass the same, In which we Desire
you wou'd be pleased to Joyn
