who Returns & says he Dd it
Mr Edmond Benson & Mr Wm Turbutt with a Bill for

Supplying Defects in a Conveyance of Land from Henry
Roberts to John Ford
Passed by the Lower House.
And being Read is Ordered a second Reading and being
Read a second Time will Pass & so Endorsed and sent Down
by Mr Lowe who Returns & says he Dd it

The House Adjourns till Afternoon

His Excellency lays before this house his Answer to the
Address of the lower house of Assembly Viz.

May 20th 1719
Mr Speaker.
I Desire you will Acquaint the house that the Honourable
mention of the Lord Propry in your Address of Yesterday shall
be laid before his Lordship by the first Conveniency which I
Doubt not will be Very Acceptable to him

The Steady Resolution of your house to maintain the Prot-
estant Religion and Laws of this Governmt is highly Comend-
able in them
The favourable Sense your house has of my Administra-
tion is truly gratefull And shall Allways Retain an Affection-
ate Memory of this And your former good Inclinations to me.

It is Sent to the lower house by Col Holland Col Young Col
Addison & Esqr Hall Who return & Say they delivered it.
A Bill for Encouragemt of an Iron Manufacture being
Read and Considered by this House will pass and so En-
dorsed And Sent to the lower house by Colo Holland and Esqr
Hall, who return & say they Delivered it
