This House preferr to his Excellency the Governour their
Address as follows

By the Uper House of Assembly
May It Please yor Excy
It being the undoubted Right of the Supreme Authority

when and as often as shall be thought necessary for the Comon
good, no Circumstance of Time ought to Restrain us tho to
our Disadvantage when our Duty Calls us to the Service of
our Country which Service we the more Cheerfully enter upon
at this Time, That we have our hearts filled with Joy and
Satisfaction to find that their Lordships Contrary to the
Opinion of some People have Approved of most of the Pro-
ceedings of the last Session of Assembly And more Especially
for the Encouragemt they have given us to Concert such
proper measures as shall most Effectually Support the Au-
thority of the Courts of Justice, and protect the Persons of
his Lordships ministers, As your Excellency hath been pleased
to Declare to us in your Kind Speech to both Houses of
Assembly
This, Sr Gives us a fitt Occasion of Acknowledging our
Gratitude to your Excellency for all your good Offices with
their Lordships in Setting matters forth in so true a light
that we have now nothing left us to fear, from the practices
of a Restless and Turbulent People, notwithstanding the De-
signs they were forming in the Person of our Lord Propry,
against our Establish't Government in the hands of Protest-
