And at the same time delivered the following message Viz.

By the upper house of Assembly May 8th 1718.
Gent:

We having taken into Consideracon the Allowance to be
made his Excy By the severall Counties of this Province for a
Copy of the Laws made this Sessions Propose Six hundred
pounds of Tobacco a suitable Recompence to be made his Excy
for Each Body to the Counties and for one to the Provinciall
Court there being fewer Laws made this Sessions than for two
years past with which We desire your Concurrence.

Bill for ascertaining the Bounds of Lands within this
Province was read and ordered to be thus Endorst viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly May 8th 1718.

Read with the Amendmts and will pass.

And Sent to the upper house by Colo Mackall Mr Charles
Wright Maj Emerson & Capt Fendall.
They return and Say they delivered it.
Bill for the relief of the City of Annapolis was read and
ordered to be thus endorst viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly May the 8th 1718.

Read the first and second Times by Especiall Order & will
Pass

Colo Young from the upper house delivers Mr Speaker the
Bill for the relief of the City of Annapolis thus endorst viz:

By the upper house of Assembly May the 8th 1718.

This Bill being read will Pass with the following Amend-
ments viz: That the Twenty Lots to be laid out be to the
Eastward of the ferry Road that leads by the Hill whereon the
Powder House now Stands and that the Inhabitants of this
