Ques. Mr Macnemara, I sent you a Letter by the Clerk of
this House which was Inclosed to me from the Right Honrble
the Lords Guilford & Baltemore Have you received that
Letter ?
Answer. I have
Q: Have you any thing to offer me by the Comand of
their Lordships ?
A: I have nothing to Offer, but their Ldps lets me know
that your Excy was to make Proposalls to me

Q: Have you made any applications to me since you re-
ceived that Letter ?
A: I have not.
Q: Have you any to make at this Time
A: I have not.
His Excy says he takes this to be a further Confirmation of
his Obstinacy & Contumaciousness he then makes no Offers
of his Submission, on the Order of his Suspension in the
Chancery Court, Notwithstanding their Lordships have Ap-
proved that Suspension by their Letter to his Excellency.
Which his Excellency is pleased to lay before this House,
together with a Copy of their Lordships Letter to Mr Macne-
mara Viz.

Sr London Feb. 4th 1717
Having Recd yours of October 22d we shall here Confine
ourselves to answer that Part of it only wch Relates to Your
Suspending Mr Macnemara from his Practice in the Chancery
Court.

We have taken into our Consideration your Order of Sus-
pension and Likewise Mr Macnemara's Peto and your Answer
to it we have also Considered the Journalls of our Councill in
this Affair together with their Letter to us. And upon the
whole we Intirely Agree with the Opinion of our Councill that

you had good Reason to Suspend him as you Did till he had
made his Due Submission: And we have Determined that
the said Suspention Ought not to be taken off untill such
time as he had made a Due Submission to you in such Terms
and manner as you by the Advice of Our Councill shall think
proper for him to do.
The Inclosed directed to our Councill is an Answer to
theirs on this Subject, And that to Mr Macnemara is an
Answer to his both which you will Deliver in such Manner as
you think most proper.

We shall enlarge no further on this Occasion but to Ex-
press the great Satisfaction we have to find how well my Lord
