not Accepted it. But if any dispute be in this part it can in no

On Reading the Petition of Hester Smith & Hesther Old-
field the follo Endorsmt is Ordered to be made thereon Viz.

By the Uper house of Assembly
May 5th 1718
Upon Reading the within Petition this house is of Opinion
that the Petrs are Objects of Charity And that by the Corrupt
& Malitious Evidence of the psecutors they have suffered
unjustly, Wherefore we Referr their Deplorable & unhappy
Circumstances being Charged with Great Fees (all of which
are Remitted Except the Sher riffs) unto the Consideration
of the Lower House of Assembly, and further ppose that
after such Abatements are made on the Sherriffs Fees as may
be thought Reasonable, the sd p sons may be sett at large from
their Unhappy Confinements at the publick Charge

Sent to the Lower House by Mr Lowe who returns and says
he Dd it

A Bill for Limitation of Actions in the several Courts &c.
of this Province being Read the following Endorsement is
made thereon.
