not this House think it Reasonable Time and notice be Given
her to be heard in Relation hereto the next Sessions.
Read also at this Board a Bill to Enable Benjamin Howard
to sell Certain Lands in Ann Arundell County, and for Entail-
ing other Lands in Baltemore County.
The Question being put whether it shall Pass or not Re-
solved in the Affirmative and so Endorsed.
All which three Bills are sent to the Lower House by Col
Tilghman who Returns & says he Delivered them
Col Thomas Ennalls lays before this House a Report of the
Conference on the Land Law as foll0 Viz.

Att a Conference Appointed by the Uper and Lower Houses
of Assembly to Inspect into the Law for Ascertaining the
bounds of Land.
Who Accordingly meet at the House of Mrs Mary Dodd on
Tuesday the 29th Day of Aprill 1718.

And were Present

Who make choice of Col Thos Ennalls to be Chairman and
Philip Hamond for their Clk.

And thereupon Proceed to Inspect and Examine into the
Defects in the said Law and to Consider a remedy to redress
the same.

The Conference adjourns until Wednesday morning eight
of the Clock

Wednesday Morning Aprill 30th 1718.
The Conferences meet According to Adjournmt
Present as before.

Who proceed to Inspect into the said Law and Humbly
offer the following Remarks to the Discretion of the Upper &
Lower Houses of Assembly for their Approbation thereon
Viz.

Ist That the time for the meeting of the Commissrs be the
second day of the sevll County Courts.rr
