We are well satisfyed with the Reason of the Assembly's
postponeing the Restoreing us the Eight p Cent which was
without our Knowledge deducted out of that Part of our
Revenue for which we gave up our Quit Rents & Alienation
Fines.
And Declaring to this House that their Lordships Expect
to be restored to the said Eight p Cent having given so val-
uable a Consideration for it as the Quitt Rents & Alienation
ffines, On which his Excy Desires the Opinion of this House.
Whereupon the following Message is Prepared

Aprill 30th 1718
Gent. His Excellency having laid before this House Part
of a Letter to him from his Lordship the Ld Propry dated the
16th day of November 1717 Relateing to the Eight p Cent
deducted out of his Lordship's Revenue of Eighteen p hhd, in
his Lordships Words, We having taken into Consideration
his Lordships Comands thereupon, And finding on your Tour-
