Whereupon the said Supplementary Act being Read a
Second Time in this House will Pass & is so Endorsed And
Sent to the lower house, by Colo Holland, Col Young, Colo
Addison, Colo Tilghman and Col Smyth, who Return and say
they delivered it.
The follo message being Prepared is sent to the lower House
viz.

By the Uper house of Assembly
Apr ill the 29th 1718
Gent. In answer to your Message by Mr James Lloyd and
two others this House hath appointed Col. Thomas Ennalls
Col Thos Addison Col Richd Tilghman & Henry Lowe Esqr
to Join with such of the Gentl of your House as you think
Convent

May It Please your Honrs
We have appointed James Stoddert Esqr Capt. Thomas
Truman Greenfield, Capt Henry Peregrine Jowles, Mr Tames
Lloyd & Mr Wm Turbutt & Lieut Colo Edward Scott to Join
the members of your House in the Conference on the Act for
Ascertaining the bounds of Land &c. who are now Ready to
attend

By his Excellency the Governour
Aprill the 29th 1718
Gentlemen of the Uper & Lower Houses of Assembly
Finding an Absolute necessity for the good Government of
the Church in this Province in order to the Promoting Propa-
gateing of True Religion & Virtue, I have Convened the ven-
erable body of the Clergy, who are at this time met together
for that End. But as this my Intention will be sett in a Clearer
View by the Speech I made to the Reverend Clergy And their
Address to me upon it, I now Communicate to this Generall
Assembly and not Doubt but your Zeal for Religion will Excite
