Lloyd & Mr Wm Turbutt & Lieut Colo Edward Scott to Join
the members of your House in the Conference on the Act for
Ascertaining the bounds of Land &c. who are now Ready to
attend

Gentlemen of the Uper & Lower Houses of Assembly
Finding an Absolute necessity for the good Government of
the Church in this Province in order to the Promoting Propa-
gateing of True Religion & Virtue, I have Convened the ven-
erable body of the Clergy, who are at this time met together
for that End. But as this my Intention will be sett in a Clearer
View by the Speech I made to the Reverend Clergy And their
Address to me upon it, I now Communicate to this Generall
Assembly and not Doubt but your Zeal for Religion will Excite
