Humbly Referred to your Excellency and Honours to do
therein what may be thought Necessary.

On Reading whereof and hearing the parties Concerned in
this Complaint,
It is the Opinion of this House that the Justices have not
done their Duty in not Restoreing to Rebecca Brannock the
mother of the sd minor the Possession of the Land whereon
the Jury found the Force to be Comitted.

Col Edward Scott and three more bring from the Lower
House, A Supplementary Bill to the Act Directing the manner
of Electing & Sumoning Delegates & Representatives to serve
in succeeding Assemblys &c. Past by the Lower House and
being Read in this House,
Resolved that Mr Attorny Generall be Consulted whether,

that Part of the Bill Relating to Papists having their Votes at
Elections be Repugnant to the Laws of England or not
Which he is Required to Certify under his hand
A Copy of the above Order being Sent by Col Addison & Mr
Henry Lowe, they Return & say they Delivered it, And that
Mr Attorny Genl Desires leave till the morning to Consider it.

The House Adjourns till to morrow Morning

Apr ill 29th 1718
Gent. Believing it will be great Satisfaction to your house
We have now Comunicated a Letter We have had the Honour
to Receive from the Right Honourable the Lords Guilford &
Baltemore, by which you will Observe how ready their Ldships

are to Support their Authority, And strengthen the Hands of
those Comissioned for the Distribution of Justice against the
bold & Insolent Attempts of Mr Macnemara, not only in the
Chancery, but to some of our Knowledge in the Provl Court.
So Seasonable a piece of Justice in their Lordships, we hope
may have an Influence on those (had this gone with Impunity)
who might have followed his Evill Example of flying in the
