not be ordain'd till the proper time: that he would Lay your
Testimonium & My Letr before the Bishop, for his Service
at the Stated time, for the time he is gone to Ireland. Lord
Baltimore's consent is peculiar favour to Mr Tasker, he de-
sires no Engagement of such his favours until the Persons
are Beneficed he has Notifyed to you & particularly Doctor
Sharpe Mr Lee's friend.

The inclosed on Yr perusing You'l Seal & deliver to Mr
Lloyd, whose Conduct is not agreeable to My Lord who
hopes his Resignation without his Lordps Remove: His
Lord" considering the Bad Conduct & Method of his Pro-
vincial Property under No Regular Measures is by intricacy
Subject to fraud & of much Loss & trouble to him. He
therefore Directs Propositions Relative Viz. That the Land
Office his Lordps Office of Record, from whence Issues all
comon, special Resurvey Warrants, Grants & Patents of
Land & of Escheat Land 'Tis Proposed, that part of that
office shall be a reposit for all the Farm contracts from the
Rent-Roll-Keepers which contracts before delivered to the
Farmers to be examined & certifyed by the Judges of that
office as to the Validity of Quit-Rent of each County. And
in that Office to be deposited the Leases of all Manor Lands
& of all other Rights payable to the Lord Proprietor, the
Original contracts as often as occasion shall happen of Re-
newal to be deposited in that Office, ready to be produced
before the Board there to consist of the Lieut Governor, the
Judges of the Office, the Recr Genl & Rent-Roll Keepers. The
Lieut Governor with the Judges of Land Office to sign all
comon Special & Resurvey Warrants, Grants & Patents &
of Escheat Land disposed of and Entered on Record. The
Farm contracts as often as Renewed to be by the Recrs Genl
transmitted to the Lord Proprietor & Attested Copys of all
other concerns of his Revenue on Renewal. In order to

compensate for this trouble & Attendance 'tis Proposed Viz.

To the Judges of the Land Office their proffit as usual To
the Lieut Govr 5 pr Ct out of the 10 pr Ct as has been usualy
paid on value of Land disposed of & 4 pr Ct of the said Value
to the two Recrs Genl one for each shore & the remaing 1 pr Ct
for an Additional Clerk to the Land Office, whose Business
shall be to keep Books & make Entry of all concerns Neces-
sary by order of the Board at their Meetgs & to serve such
orders Signed by the Board or the Major part of them, the
Lieut Govr being allways one & upon the party served not
complying with the Sumons & Demand of the said Board on
the Lord Proprietors Behalf the said Board shall by their
Authoritv order & direct the Recrs Genl to take such Measure
