214 Assembly Proceedings, April 26-June 3, 1715.

The same is sent up to the Honble Council by Mr War-
field, Capt Trippe, Major Woolford and Capt Colegate.
They return and say they delivered the Bill.
Lt Colo Samuel Young from the Honble Council delivers
Mr Speaker a Bill for Relief of Ezekiel Parr of Cecil County
thus indorsed Viz.

By the Council in Assembly
June the 2d 1715

Read in Council and will pass with the Amendments made.
Signed p Order W. Bladcn Clerk Council.

Read again in the House of Delegates after the Amend-
ments made and past for ingrossing
John Hall Esqr from the Honble Council delivers M
Speaker a Bill for Relief of Peter Sewal a languishing Prisoner
in Calvert County thus indorsed Viz.

By the Council in Assembly
June the 2d 1715

Read in Council and will pass with the Amendments pro-
posed. Signed p Order W Bladen Cl Council

Philemon Lloyd Esqr and Lt Colo Richard Tilghman from
the Honble Council deliver Mr Speaker the following Mes-
sage Viz.

By his Excellency the Governor and Council in Assembly
June the 2d 1715

Gentlemen.
In Answer to your Proposal by Mr Mariarte and others this
Board do concur with your House that the Sum of two hun-
dred and fifty Pounds Sterling be allowed in the publick Levy
and paid this Year to the Keeper of the Great Seal in Satis-
faction for his Dues for Sealing sending and transcribing
Duplicates of all Laws made and revised this Session for
Great Britain and that the several Counties of this Province
pay unto the said Keeper of the Great Seal for a Copy of the
said Laws when transmitted to them 3000 ll Tobacco each
