At the Council Chamber in the City of Annapolis Tuesday
October the 28th in the eleventh year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lady Queen Ann of Great Brittain &c Annoq
Domini 1712
Present

The Hon ble Edward Lloyd Esqr President
Saml Young Esqr Col Wm Whittington
Col Thos Greenfield Col Richd Tilghman
Col Chars Greenberry and
Col Thomas Addison Capt John Dorsey

Her Majesty's Proclamation declaring the Suspension of
Arms as well by Sea as Land agreed upon between her
Majesty and the most Christian King & Enjoyning the ob-
servance thereof Was read at the Board. As also the Right
Honble the Earl of Dartmouth her Majesty's Principal Sec-
retary of States Letter of the 21st of August last accompany-
ing the said Proclamation.
And on due Consideration of her Majesty's most tender and
Royal regard to all her Subjects therein expressed Advised &
Resolved the said Proclamation be forthwith published in the
respective Countys of this Province & this Instt at the City of
Annapolis

This being the Day appointed for the meeting of the Gen-
eral Assembly, Two of the members of the House of Dele-
gates viz. Mr Robert Tyler and Mr Robert Ungle came and
acquainted the Honble Presidt that there were two & thirty
Delegates in Town Sufficient to make an House
The Honble Saml Young Charles Greenberry John Hall and
Wm Whittington Esqrs were directed to go and pursuant to a
Dedimus Potestatem for that purpose to administer the Oaths
appointed by Law to the respective Delegates Who went in &
some small time after returned and said They had administred
the oaths required by Law to the Delegates and Burghesses
Whom they saw Subscribe the Test
The Honble Presidt acquainted the members of her Maj-
esty's Council with what he intended to say to the House of
Delegates upon their meeting which was well approved of by
the Board

Mr Young and Capt Dorsey sent to the House to acquaint
