Bill relating to poor Debtors Indorsed

October 30th 1711
By the Council in Assembly

Read in Council and it is the Opinion of this Board that
whatsoever has been done in Pursuance of the Former Law
and until such Time as her Majesty's Dissassent thereto pub-
lished here, was, and is well done, and ought not to be dis-
puted in any of the Courts of this Province provided the
Directions of the said Law have been duly complyed with and
therefore they do not think the Bill now proposed any wise
necessary But (if the House are of a contrary Opinion)
Resolved the Consideration thereof be referred to the next
Session of Assembly after the Arrival of a Governor.

Bill impowering Commissioners to lay out Land for the
Nanticoke Indians Indorsed

By the Council
October 30th 1711

This Bill has been read the first Time Whereupon it is recom-
mended to the House that the Lands be vested in some Per-
sons and their Heirs Capable of taking for the use of those
Indians the Public not being so and that there be a Clause in
the Law to bar Minors Femmes Covert &ta and to oblige the
Comrs to return their Proceedings to be recorded in the Secre-
tary's Office and Somerset County Court Records
