cated to us your Resolution not to advise the Honble Presi-
dent to pass any Act of Moment, until the Arrival of a Capt
General which in all Probability may be suddenly expected
and an Assembly called wherein we expect the many Aggriev-
ances this Province labours under will be redressed and we
under a Necessity of having an Agent in Great Britain have
Resolved to refer the appointing any until then and pray your
Honours will concur with us herein and if in the mean Time
your Honours please to recommend two or three Persons for
that Purpose we shall consider thereof

Sent up to the Honble Council by Mr Scott, Mr Paca and
Mr Crabb. They return & say they delivered their Message
Ordered Mr Vanderheyden and Mr Crabb attend the
Honble Council to see Mr Knighton sworn to his Naval
Officers Accounts. They return and say they saw him Sworn
John Hall Esq and Colo Greenfield enter the House and
deliver Mr Speaker a Message which is ordered to lye on the
Table for Consideration on Monday.

Colo Tilghman enters the House and delivers Mr Speaker
Mr Bradford's Petition which was read with the Indorsment
from the Council and ordered to be indorsed

By the House of Delegates
27th October 1711.

Read and Leave given to bring in a Bill next Session upon
making good the Allegations.

Committee for valuing Mr Edwards his Work enter the
House and report it is their Opinion that he deserves thirty
three Pounds more than what he is already paid which the
House agreed and ordered the Committee of Accounts make
Allowance accordingly
Guy Meek's Petition brought into the House by Colo
Tilghman Read and referred to the Committee of Accounts
for Allowance.
The House adjourned till Monday Morning Nine O'Clock

Monday 29th October 1711.

The House met according to Adjournment. Being called
over were present as on Saturday.
