desire you will not fail to take Care and give Directions for
the Paymt of his Salary to his Attorneys in this Province so
soon as the same becomes due

Mr Amos Garrett and Major Woolford are sent up to the
Honble Council to see John Rousby Esqr prove his Accounts.
They return and say they see him prove the same.
The following Message was ordered to be prepared and
entered as follows Viz.

By the House of Delegates
8th October 1714

Little Tobacco being made this Year and that the Several
Gent, that serve the Country may be allowed some Part of
their Claims in Money rating Tobo. at one Penny p Pound in
Order to bear Part of their Expences and to ease the People
of this Province we propose to allow every pson attending
the publick Service out of the publick Stock three Pounds
and desire to know if your Honours will have such Allowance
made the several Members of your Board.

Sent up by Mr James Stoddart and Mr John Fendall.
They return and say they delivered their Message
All References referred to this Sessions of Assembly are
further referred to the Consideration of the next Sessions of
Assembly.
Ordered, That Summons issue to Mr Jonathan Cary of
Charles County, Clerk, to appear before this House next
Sessions to shew Cause (if he has any) why New Port
Hundred, Part of William and Mary's Parish in Charles
County should not be remited to King and Queen's Parish
in St Mary's County.
John Hall Esqr from the Honble Council enters the House
and delivers Mr Speaker the following Viz.

By the Council in Assembly
October the 8th 1714

On Consideration of your Message by Mr Stoddart and
Mr Fendall this Board believing it will very much ease the
Inhabitants are willing to take their Allowances as proposed
