Redress ought to be sought For all which foregoing Premises

The House adjourns till to Morrow Morning 8 O' Clock

Saturday Morning 3d July 1714.

Then the House met again according to Adjournmt and
being called over was psent as yesterday.
Then was read what was done yesterday.
The Bill for reviving an Act of Assembly of this Province
for Limitation of Officers Fees and for supplying some Defects
therein and also reviving another Act of Assembly of this
Province Entituled an Act explaining some doubtful Expres-
sions in the Act for Limitation of Officers Fees was read the
first and second Time by especial Order with the Amendments
and Ordered to be thus indorsed Viz.

July 3d 1714

Read the first and 2d Time by especial Order and will pass
Signed p Order Tho. Macnemara Cl. Ho. Del.

Moved by a Member of this House that the Place of Treas-
urer for the Eastern Shore being vacant by the Death of Colo
Thomas Smithson a new one may be chose to supply the
Place. Whereupon Robert Ungle Esqr out of the great Re-
spect justly due to him from this House is chosen Treasurer
for the Eastern Shore Nemine contradicente.
The following Address is ordered to be sent to his Excel-
lency the Governour with the Report from the Committee of
Aggrievances Viz.

May it please your Excy
This House not to be wanting in their Duty towards the
People of this Province whom they represent humbly shew
your Excy that the People of this Province have been very
much oppressed by Means of the Matters contained in the
Rept from the Committee of Aggrievances hereunto annex'd
which we pray your Excy to consider We have such Profes-
