Act for limiting Officers ffees, having formerly agreed to refer
that Matter to the Arrival of a Captain General which as it
cannot be expected will be long so it will also be the most
proper and convenient Time to settle those Fees and there-
fore we propose that the Law be renewed as heretofore lest
for Want thereof the Officers be obliged to prosecute Actions
for their Fees to the great Oppression of the good People of
the Province We cannot consent to any Regulation of that
Law at this Time and therefore think it will be to no Purpose
to spend Time in Conferrence thereon

Upon reading the Petition of Mr Joseph Lambert on Behalf
of Mr John Lillingston's Children, This House are of Opinion
that the whole forty Pounds of Tobacco p Poll ought to be
paid to Mr Lillingston's Children for that Year in which their
Father died, and on their Behalf pray the Honble President
and Council to order the Sheriff to pay the same to them
