They return and say they presented the same to his Excy.
Mr Peregrine Frisby is excused from his Attendance this
Sessions by Reason of his Indisposition.
The House adjourns till to Morrow Morning Eight O'Clock.

Die Jovis 24th Die Junis 1714

Then the House met again according to Adjournmt present
as yesterday.
Resolved, and accordingly Ordered nemine contradicente
That every Member that doth not appear at the second Call
of the House over every Morning during this Sessions shall
forfeit that Days Allowance on which such Member shall not
appear and every Member not appearing at the second Call
in the Afternoon shall be fined five Shillings unless good
Cause to be approved of by the House be shewn to the con-
trary. And that the Clerk of this House keep a particular
Account thereof
The House took into Consideration the Instructions sent
down on the 22d by Colo Lloyd and five others of the Honble
Council.

Resolved, That there be an Answer returned to the same
in the Afternoon
The House adjourns till One O'Clock in the Afternoon

Thursday in the Afternoon.

Then the House met again according to Adjournmt Present
as in the Morning.
Colo Lloyd, Colo Holland, Colo Addison, Philemon Lloyd
and John Dorsey Esqrs from the Honble the Council enter
the House and deliver Mr Speaker the following from his
Excy Viz.

Gentlemen,
I am much obliged to you for the kind Sense you express
of my Concern for the Sufferings of this Province in the Decay
of it's Trade. Her Majesty who has unspeakable Tenderness
for the Prosperity of her Subjects will never be wanting on
her Part for your speedy Redress. Your dutiful Expressions
in complying with her Majesty's Instructions is the Effect of
the prudent and loyal Temper of your House which will
always render good Subjects grateful to the best of Queens.
I am much obliged to you for your good Opinion you conceive
