Council Chamber to see him qualified by taking the usual
Oaths.
They return and say they saw him take the usual Oaths and
the Oath of Clerk of this House.
Ordered That Mr Speaker issue out his Warrant for the
immediate issuing a Writ to be directed to the Sheriff of Kent
County for the electing a Member to serve this present Ses-
sions in the Room of Colo William Blay who died since last
Sessions of Assembly.
Ordered That Mr Speaker issue out his Warrant for the
immediate issuing a Writ to be directed to the Sheriff of
Calvert County for the Electing two Members to serve this
present Sessions in the Room of Mr John Leach late deceased
and of Mr John Broome who since last Sessions and being
elected has accepted of the Place of High Sheriff of Calvert
County.
Ordered That Mr Speaker issue out his warrant for the
immediate issuing a Writ to be directed to the Sheriff of Ann
Arundel County for electing two Members to serve for that
County this present Sessions in the Room of Major Charles
Hammond and Captain Richard Jones who since the last
Sessions deceased.

Ordered That Mr Speaker issue his Warrant for the immedi-
ate issuing a Writ to be directed to the Sheriff of Queen
Ann's County for electing a Member to serve this present
Sessions of Assembly in the Room of Mr John Wells who
died since last Sessions.
Ordered That Mr Speaker issue his Warrant for the issuing
a Writ to be directed to the Sheriff of Baltimore County for
electing a Member to serve this present Sessions in the Room
of Mr William Talbott, late deceased.
Resolved That the ancient Rules of this House shall be
punctually kept and observed.
Resolved, That this House will sit to do Business during
this Sessions at Eight in the Morning and continue sitting to
Eleven in the forenoon and from One in the Afternoon till Six.
Resolved, That every Member of this House that does not
appear every Morning and Afternoon at the Calling over the
House shall be fined.
The House adjourns till Eight of the Clock to Morrow
Morning
