Lib. 41

House of the Right Honble the Lords of Trade and Planta-
tions disallowing of the several Acts passed in the Assembly
in the Year 1709 and their Significations if any of those Laws
be absolutely necessary for the Welfare of this Province they
may be reenacted

tend to the Preservation of the Peace and Tranquility of the

We hope the Business of this Session will be speedily ended
and that therein we shall have the Opportunity of serving our
Country in such Affairs as may answer the Charge of our
convening. And as there can be nothing which can more
contribute to the Service of our Country or the Security and
Relief thereof than a right and good Understanding between
your Honours and us, it shall be the Daily subject Matter of

our Applications in studying all Things that may tend thereto

and promote the Welfare of this poor Province.
And tho' we labour under the worst of Times we doubt not
your Honours will persevere in taking all reasonable Methods
to the Advancement thereof with due Regard to the Expence
and Charge of the Province in General; assuring your Hon-
