and when by Inspection of the Journal of the Committee of
Accounts Anno 1704 you find the Mistake of your Assertion
the Clerk of this Board being then allowed for a Clerk
Assistant We hope we shall have no further Occasion to press
you in this Matter

Which being read and debated Ordered the following
Message Viz.
By the House of Delegates
Novr 9th 1713

We have caused the Errors in the Journal of the Commit-
tee of Accounts to be rectified according to your Remarks
We pray your Assent thereto that a Committee may go out
to apportion the Levy. We cannot agree to the allowing any
Thing to the Clerk Assistant to the Clerk of the Council not
taking that very long Assembly 1704 to be any Precedt There-

fore we have appointed Mr Leech, Mr Scott, Mr Lloyd, Mr
Stevenson and Mr Jowles to join the Members of your Board
to apportion the Levy and desire they may meet thereon to
Morrow Morning

And sent up to the Council by the above Gentlemen.
Three following ingrossed Bills.
Bill against false packing Tobacco.
Bill for Relief of Anthony Joy.
Bill ascertaining what shall be allowed to Grand and Petit
Jurors.
All read and severally indorsed

9th Novr 1713
Read and assented to by the House of Delegates and
Signed p Order R. Dallam Cl. Ho. Del.

And sent up to the Council by Mr Jowles and Mr Pearce
They return and say they delivered the Bills.
The House adjourns till to Morrow Morning Nine O'Clock.

Tuesday Novr 9th 1713.

The House met according to Adjournment and being called
over were present as yesterday only Mr Ward being sick.
