252 Assembly Proceedings, Oct. sj-Wov. 14, 1713.

Col Tilghman This House proposed to build an House for to
lodge the publick Arms in to be built twenty five foot long
and eighteen foot wide and ten foot pitch sawed frame
planked within Side & without well shingled & to be built
on the public Ground.
Mr Thomas Docwra will undertake the work as to the
building of Houses in the Countys for County Arms &c
This House desires the Consideration thereof may be referred
till next Session of Assembly and that your Honourable Board
will concur therewith

To which the Board concurred & sent to the Delegates as
followeth Viz.

By the President & Council in Assembly
November the i4th 1713

We have your message of this day by Mr Worthington and
three of your members relating to Arm Houses & do concur
with your Resolves therein

Sent to the House of Delegates by Col Addison together
with the Bill for assessing the publick Levy

Resolved the following message be sent to the Delegates
Viz.

By the President & Council in Assembly
Novemr the 14th 1713.

Whereas the Printer is dead and the Act for the publication
of all Laws within this province requires a fair Transcript of
the Laws of every Session to be writt on parchment and
transmitted by Writt under the Great Seal to the Sherriffe of
each respective County to be published for which the Keeper
of the Great Seale is to be allowed so much tobacco as the
General Assembly in which the afd Laws are made shall assess
& allow, And the transcribing on parchment being absolutely
required there not being sufficient to be now had for that
purpose we desire your Advice on the Premises

Sent to the House by Mr Hall
Major Woolford & Capt Scott brought up the Bill for
Assessments and payments of the publick Charge this present
year 1713 Assented to by the House of Delegates which
