They return & say they delivered their Message.
The Honble Colo Addison and Colo Tilghman enter the
House and deliver Mr Speaker the three ingrossed Bills sent
up this Day severally indorsed

Read and assented to by her Majesty's Honble Council in
Assembly &

Also Bill restraining the Inhabitants from selling Liquors to
the Indians &ta Indorsed

Moved that Leave be given to Benjamin Woodward and
Mary his Wife to exhibit a Petition to this House and Leave
given accordingly Which Petition being read Ordd it be in-
dorsed

By the House of Delegates
13th Nov. 1712

The within Petition Read and Resolved That Colo Thomas
Smithson and Mr Thos Hicks be served with Copies thereof
and that unless they appear the next Session of Assembly
and shew Cause to the contrary on Oath of such Service and
no Cause shewn, Leave be given to bring in a Bill as prayed.

Bill relieving some Aggrievances again Read and Resolved
the same wants some Amendments and that a Message be
prepared to acquaint the Council thereof as followeth,

ffolio 2 is contrary to the Intent of your Honours and this
House as the Messengers herewith sent will remark to your
Honours We desire the same may be amended by leaving out
