Mr Speaker Bill for regulating writs of Error and granting
Appeals Indorsed —

This Bill being read at the Board Resolved it do pass with-
out the last Proviso annexed thereto

Richard Walkers Petition praying Relief against the unjust
Dealing of his deceased Brother, Flower Walker, Read and
indorsed —

By the House of Delegates
8th Nov. 1712

The within Petition read and debated and Mr Charles Wright
affirmed in the House that he well remembers that Flower
Walker told him he bought the Land with his Brother's Money
and seated it for his the Petitioners use

Thereupon resolved Leave be given to bring in a Bill next
Session of Assembly upon making good the Allegations and
giving Notice to Flower Walker's widow then to appear and
shew Cause if any she hath why the same should not be
granted

The Honble Colo Greenberry, Colo Addison, Colo Tilghman,
John Hall and John Dorsey Esqr enter the House and deliver
Mr Speaker the following Message

By the Honble President and Council in Assembly
Novr 8th 1712

The Honble President having communicated to us your
Address to him for revising rhe Law for relieving the Inhabi-
tants of this Province from some Aggrievances they lye under
and our Sentiments agreeing with yours that in Case such a
Law is not now past many good Planters will desert their
Abodes and others to avoid Imprisonment will be induced to
resist Justice and sculk in the Woods whereby the Happy
Peace and Tranquility of this Province may be endangered
we have been inclined to advise his Honour to consent to the
