Resolved a Message be sent to the Council on the Debates
of the House Yesterday relating to Magazine Houses &ta as
followeth.
By the House of Delegates
7th Novr 1712
Upon Receipt of your Message yesterday relating to the
Arms and Ammunition and building Magazine Houses in each
County this House took the same into Consideration and
maturely debated the same and upon the Question put
whether such Houses were necessary or convenient to be
built or not? It past in the Negative. The House thereupon
Resolved That the Arms and Ammunition remain in the
Hands of the several Commanders in each County to whom
the same hath been committed until the next Session of As-
sembly
This House have also ordered that Mr Philemon Hemsley
who intermarried with Colo Contee's Widow shall the next
Session of Assembly lay before this House an Account of
what Arms and Ammunition were lodged in Colo Contees
Hands for the Use of the Public and how the same have been
since disposed of.

The aforesaid three Bills and Message sent up to the
Honble Council by Mr Lloyd, Mr Garrett, Mr Mariartee &
Mr Lockerman.
They return & say they delivered the Bills & Message
Bill confirming the Probat of John Harrison's Will Read the
first & second Times by special Order and will pass.
Bill making good and valid in Law a Deed of Bargain and
Sale from Colo Ninian Beall to Michael Ashford. Read the
first & second Times by special Order & will pass.
Bill confirming a Lease made by Robert Smith Esqr to
Matthew Mason by Special Order Read the first and second
Times and will pass
These three last Bills sent up to the Council by Mr John
Purnell & Mr Story.
They return and say they delivered the Bills
Bill for regulating Writs of Error and granting Appeals
Read the first Time and ordered a second Reading
Bill for Naturalization of Peter Overard, Joseph Chrismond,
and Daniel Packett and Ambrose Nelson Read the first and
second Times by special Order and will pass.
