By the House of Delegates April 18th 1706

It being proposed by a Member of this House whether it
be not reasonable that Mr W. Bladen the Undertaker of re-
building the Stadt-House be not advanced and paid some
Part of the Consideration on his Contract. It is resolved he
be paid out of the publick Stock at assessing the next publick
Levy the sum of one hundred Pounds being one half if the
Honble Council shall think fit to concur therewith.

Ingrossed Bill to prohibit the Exportation of European
Goods Indorsed Read and assented to by the House of
Delegates. Sent up to the Council by Mr Joseph Gray
He returns and says he delivered it.
William Coursey Esq enters the House and delivers Mr
Speaker Ingrossed Bill for encouraging making Hemp and
Flax Indorsed April 18th 1 706. Her Majesty's Honble Coun-
cil have read and assented hereto.

Colo Lloyd and Colo Holland enters the House and delivers
Mr Speaker the Bill prohibiting the Exportation of European
Goods &ta Indorsed April 18th 1706
Read and assented to by the Council.

Speaker the Addresses
James Saunders Esqr enters the House and delivers Mr
Speaker ingrossed Bill declaring several Acts of Parliament
to be in Force. Indorsed April 18th 1706
Her Majesty's Honble Council have read and assented
hereto. Signed p Order W Bladen Cl. Co.

Bill apportioning the publick Levy Read the first and sec-
ond Time & do pass.
Sent up to the Council by Mr Joseph Grey. He returns
and says he delivered the Bill.
Colo William Holland enters the House and delivers Mr
Speaker the Bill for apportioning the publick Levy Read and
agreed to in Council.
The House adjourns till two o'Clock Afternoon

Post Meridiem. The House met again according to Ad-
journment. Being called over were all present as in the
Morning
