Speaker the following Message Viz.
By the Council in Assembly April 15th 1706.
In Answer to Part of the Houses Message by Colo Maxwel
and Mr Mackall we have perused the Act of Religion and find
it no Ways declares the Penal Laws to be in force here but
wholly exempts the Dissenters upon complying with certain
Duties therein injoined.

Upon reading the foregoing Message, Resolved That a Bill
be prepared declaring the Act of Parliament against Dissenters
to be in force in this Province
Bill for appointing Itinerant Judges for the Ease and
Security of this Province.
Read the first Time and referred for further Reading till
Afternoon.
Bill declaring the Statute against Bigamy to be in force.
Read the first Time and committed for Amendments.
Colo Edward Lloyd from the Honble Council enters the
House & delivers Mr Speaker Ingrossed Bill for dividing
several Counties &ca with some Remarks which were amended
and sent up by Mr Joseph Grey.
James Saunders Esqr enters the House from the Honble
Council and delivers the following Bills
Bill to make void Edmondson's Deed.
Bill for Naturalization of John Baptist Tyler
Bill declaring the Act ascertaining the Bounds of Land to
be in force.
Bill uniting New Port Hundred to William and Mary Parish.
Bill settling certain Lands on John Whittington,
All severally indorsed thus
