& Indorsement or that you will be content to lose it & dis-

House about them all Circumstances being the same and to
be discharged as of the other always provided that if the
Bills can be recovered I will answer for them I had likewise
four other sets of Bills lost which by good Providence my
Friend lately got from France I had likewise Colo Thomas
Brooks first second & third Bills for forty two Pounds payable
to Geo. Harris in Somerset County drawn on Isaac Millner in
London all lost and taken I have now writ to him to make a
fourth fifth & sixth payable as afsd and I shall get them in-
dorsed or to give new Bills to me I desire he may be called
into your House and discoursed about it. It is my very
great Grief that I am not able to attend even for the adjust-

the publick Stock was drawn out of my Hands to less than
ten Pounds. I hope you will not put any Damage upon me
who am your Most Humble & diligent Servant
Thos Smithson
