Saturday Aprill 13th 1706
The Councill Sate present as Yesterday with the addition
of Coll Holland
Came George Plater Esqr her Majestys Receiver of the
District of Puttuxent and laid before his Exncy and this board
his Accounts of the three pence p hogshd given by her
Majesty for purchasing Arms & by him recd from the 1 2th of
May 1692 to th 20th of July 1705 On perusall whereof it is
observed that the following Sums have been issued vizt
To Capt Peter Coode £ 50..00..00
To Capt Nathaniel Bostock 100..00..00
To allowed Col Blakiston for apprehending
Pyrates & Securing their Effects 110..00..00
Which the Board thinks the Country ought to be refunded
and desire the house will Concurr to represent it to her Majesty
and my Ld Treasurer of England that the Country may be
reimbursd.
Also Came George Muschamp Esqr & laid before his Exncy
& this board his Accot of the three pence p Hhd for Arms
arising in Potomack & Pocomoke Districts & by him recd from

1695 to 1703 Ordered the said Accot be also laid before the
house of Delegates. Both which Accounts were sent to the
house by Coll Lloyd & Mr Wm Coursey.
Mr James Hay & Mr Joseph Gray bring from the house the
bill for Ascertaining the navigation of open Sloops & Shallops
in respect to the enumerated Cornoditys with the following
endorsement Viz.

This bill being read in the house will pass wth the following
Amendment viz. of Lessening the Security to fifty pounds
Sterl.
Which bill together with the Endorsmt being read was
ordered to be thus endorsd
By the Councill in Assembly
Aprill 13th 1706
The Board have Considered this bill & think they cannot be
too cautious in Securing the Acts of Trade & Navigation duly
complyed with and therefore think the Secry little enough
