A Bill for the preservation of the several Harbours within
this Province
A Bill for ascertaining the Expences of the Delegates of
Assembly and Commisrs of the County and provincial Courts
A Bill against excessive usury
A Bill relating to the Standard of English Weights and
measures.
A Bill for Settlement of an annual Revenue upon her
Majesties Governour within this Province for the Time being
A Bill for advancement of Natives and Residents
A Bill declaring the Grantees of Land lying within the
Indians land may have Action of trespass against such Per-
sons as carry away Timber &c.
A Bill impowering Mr William Sweatnam to sell Lands
A Bill prohibiting Commissioners, Sheriff Clerks &c to
plead as Attorneys.

By the Council in Assembly Sepr 14th. 1704.
Whereas Mr Alexander Hall a Gentn who has long served
his Country and the Crown of England as an officer abroad
in the wars and has the honour to be marryed to a relation of
his Excy the Governour, therefore in Compliment to his Excy
Came over into the Province with him and we desire he may
be Capable of Serving her Majesty in some small Employment
here in this Province notwithstanding the Act prohibiting the
same Mr Hall being as we are informed a very honest Gentleman
