Which being read & well approved of by the House Mr
Wm Frisby & Mr Robert Skinner are ordered to carry the same
up to the Council for Concurrence.
Return & say they delivered the same.
Edward Lloyd & William Holland Esqrs from the Honble
Council enter the House and deliver Mr Speaker Bill for
laying Imposition of vid p Hhd for rebuilding the Stadt
House. Indorsed as follows. Die Jovis 24o May 1705 By
the Col in Assy
This Bill being read this Board do not think it advisable
that it pass ; especially in this Time of War when Tobo is so
low, for that it will prejudice Trade in genl deter the shipping
from loading in this Province & be a Means to drive them to
Virginia. Signed p Order W Bladen Cl. Council.

The House proceeds now to allow the Fees for private Bills
&ta pursuant to Act of Assembly.

Bill for Sale of a Parcel of Land called Richardson's Choice.
Indorsed in Council thus Eodem Die Read in Council &
assented to W. Bladen Cl. Council.

Bill for Exportation of Benjamin Celey Indorsed in Council
thus. By his Excy the Governor & Council in Assembly Die
Jovis 24o May 1705
The Bill for transporting Benjamin Celey to the West Indies
being read this Board are willing the said Bill do pass notwith-
