may upon all such Occasions be continued to us & do now
lay hold on this Opportunity to assure your Excellency that
as we can have none so we will entertain none other Interests
than such which may promote her Majesty's Honour and your
Excellency's Fame & Reputation.

Which being read & approved of Ordered That Mr John
Mackall, Mr John Wells, Mr William Stone, Mr John Waters,
Mr Robert Tyler & Mr Peter Watts carry the same up to the
Council. They return & say they delivered their Message.
The House adjourns till seven O'Clock on Monday Morn-
ing next.

Die Lune May the 24th 1705

The House again met according to Adjournment And being
called over were all present as on Saturday ; only Mr Joseph
Ennalls; gone sick
Read what was done on Saturday
The Report of the Gentlemen appointed to view the Work
on the Court House was again read and lyes under Consid-
eration of the House.
Ordered Mr William Bladen attend the House. He ap-
pears and Mr Speaker informs him of the said Report ; to
which Mr Bladen made some Answer and desired the House
again to appe the same Gent, to go with him & make further
Inspection into the Work Which being granted & ordered by
the House they withdrew for that Purpose
Mr Samuel Magruder a Member for Prince George's County
being absent from the House this Session & not sent any
Excuse for the same.
Resolved That the Serjeant attendant immediately go for
him & bring him before this House & that he satisfy the
Messenger for his Charge & Trouble in going
The Business relating to the Indians lying under Consid-
eration of the House It is resolved That Mr Robert Goulds-

borough, Major Charles Greenberry and Major Nicholas Lowe
draw up a Message to be sent his Excellency in Answer to
the Message of the Council relating to the same.
Ordered Mr Thomas Frisby and Mr John Mackall carry up
to the Council Thomas Collier's Petition for their Concurrence.
They return and say they delivered the same.
A Message relating to the scandalous Libel being prepared
& brought into the House was here read & ordd to be entered
as follows Viz.
