It is further Remarq'd that the Allowance to the Secretary
for Recording the Laws of the two last Sessions is not any
way Equivalent to the Service without due Regulations &
Allowance whereof this Board will not Assent to the Journall
or Allowances thereon.

he might do but only Asserted the Royal Prerogative but if
the Bringing in of a Bill to Transport him or any other thing
which may Save his life be thought Necessary if you please
to signify to us this house will be very Ready to Concurr with
Your honrs in any such Proposal we being very Desirous that

Advised that Mr Philemon Lloyd Mr Nathaniel Hynson and
Mr Thos Addison be Appointed Comissioners to go to Cone-
stoga or further Northward to treat with the Seniquis Indians
and that Mr Thomas Jones attend them as Clerk to Write
what there shall be Occasion for.
Came Majr Contee & nine other Members from the house
& bring with them a Bill for Laying a further duty of 6d p
Hhd on Tobo Exported which being Read at the Board they
do not think it Advisable that such Bill do pass especially in
this time of Warr when Tobacco is so low for that it will
damnify the Trade in Genll Deterr the Shipping from Loading
