Book he had of his att which this Depon^t ask'd what Booke
well knowing the said Humphrey could not Read Celie Told
him it was a Story Booke when he Came home he asked
Humphrey for the Booke who told him he Would Carry it
himself at night and would not lett this Deponent see any Book.
The Board Adjourns to the afternoon.

Came M^r Aisquith with Eight Ingrossed Bills viz^t. A Bill
for the Outlawing of Richard Clark of Aund^ll County.
A Bill declaring An Act Intituled An Act for Erecting
Aun^dll & Oxford Towns into Ports and Towns formerly made
to be in force
A Bill for the Naturalization of Xpher Dangerman of Calvert
County Sadler
A Bill confirming a Certain Lre of Attorney to W^m Josephs
A Bill for punishm^t of Persons Selling or Transporting any
ffriend Indian.
A Bill declaring the Act for punishm^t of psons Suborning
Witnesses to be in force
A Bill declaring An Act Intituled An Act ascertaining the
bounds of Land to be in force
Which being Read were Severally Assented to by this Board
& were sent down to the house by Coll Lloyd & M^r Coursey.
The following Message sent to the house by Col Addison
and Col Lloyd viz.

By the Council in Assembly.

Whereas Humphery Hernaman is a principall Evidence
ag^t M^rs Rachell Freeborne now Comitted by Aiding and
Assisting her son Richard Clarke in his Traiterous Practices &
Assisting Benj^a Celie to Break the prison wee have Thought
proper to Advertise you thereof and that we do not think
Adviseable the said Hernamans Evidence not fortified with
any Concurrent Testimonys should be Rendered invalid
