Ordered that all the papers & Depo Relating to Richard
Clark & his Accomplices be Sent to the house which were
Accordingly sent by Mr Tench & Coll Hamond with this
Message.
By the Govr and Councill in Assembly
May the 18, 1705.

The Severall papers herewith sent will Serve to acquaint
Your House what Disturbance has been given the County by
the means of Richard Clark of Ann Arundel County and his
Accomplices with their horrid Projects and Treasonable Con-
trivances, Which wee desire you will maturely Consider and
Advise how to prevent & Secure the Province from such Dis-
turbances and future Injurys so long Carryed on and so
plainly threaten'd Signed p order W Bladen Cl Council
Ordered that the two Letters Relating to the New York
Affair be likewise sent to the house of Delegates which were
accordingly sent by Coll Ennalls & Mr Coursey with the
Petition of Robin Indian and the following Message.

May the 18th : 1705
The two Letters herewith sent you are from Mr Perry a
worthy Merchant who wishes this Province Extreamely well if
they give you Sufficient Reason to Believe Your Neighbours
were Apprehensive of any Encrouchment from New York we
hope none will have Reason to think we have been too Vigilant
for Own Security agt any such Attempts.

Advised that his Exncy for the Ease of the Countys in Their
Levys do grant two Comissions of the Peace in one whereof
only Six Persoas to be appointed for hearing & Determining
and one other with a Greater Number only to keep the peace
who not being Obliged to Come from their own homes may
not be paid the Eighty p Diem for Attendance as a Comr
The Board adjourns for two hours.
